    I seem to remember that the Lotche rule came about because of his butterfly. Still no matter. The supposed reasoning behind it was that he had some mechanical advantage when using the dolphin kick on his back. I have never heard any reason that made any sense, as to how there was a mechanical advantage....

    Any really good coach realizes that all people/swimmers are different and the same techniques won't work for all swimmers. I had some guy who tried to coach me for a bit. Didn't take long for me to figure that he was one of the "There are only 2 ways to swim, my way, and the wrong way." He didn't last long with me.

    I love to watch any elite swimmer. Main reason is to see what they do, and try to figure out why they do what they do. Some I incorporate, some I don't. One of the good things about swimming is that it is always changing....

      U know it when ur doing it right. I used to find freestyle exhausting. But technique is the key. Now I find freestyle more convenient than breaststroke. Turning point was when I heard : Freestyle breathing must be as easy as normal breathing. Effortless 🙂‍↔️ Practice with the Right Technique ✌️

    Summer will have momentum, I think she wins 400IM and makes podium on the 200IM. Will make predictions for gold after USA trials next week. For now I have Mckeown as slight gold favourite; she is a great racer... Douglas will be impressive next week too. If she can go 2.06 at USAs, it's game on!!

The se su substance that Sun Yang tested positive for in 2014. The Chinese clearly have a state run systematic doping program and have paid off thr right people. What I can't stand are any nations who runa statewide systematic doping program. Like the East Germans,Russians or Kenyans. What is racist about that?
